CVE-2026-17604: CWE-22 Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') in themeum Kirki – Freeform Page Builder, Website Builder & CustomizerCVE-2026-17604 0 The Kirki – Freeform Page Builder, Website Builder & Customizer WordPress plugin contains a directory traversal vulnerability in all versions up to and including 6.1.1. This flaw allows authenticated users with editor-level or higher privileges to read arbitrary files on the server by exploiting improper validation of the 'data' parameter. The vulnerability arises because the intended protection using strpos() to restrict access to the uploads directory can be bypassed by crafting a URL with directory traversal sequences embedded alongside the uploads path substring.
