CVE-2026-17614: Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') in Red Hat Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 7CVE-2026-17614 0 CVE-2026-17614 is a path traversal vulnerability in WildFly's domain mode implementation used by Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 7. It allows an attacker with access to a slave host controller secret or a compromised slave host controller to supply crafted relative paths that bypass directory restrictions. This can cause the Domain Controller to read and serve arbitrary files, potentially exposing sensitive information such as configuration files, keystores, and system credentials. The vulnerability requires high privileges and network access but no user interaction. Currently, no official fix or mitigation meeting Red Hat's criteria is available.
