CVE-2026-17614 is a path traversal vulnerability in WildFly's domain mode implementation within Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 7. The flaw allows an attacker with access to a slave host controller secret or a compromised slave host controller to supply crafted relative paths that bypass directory restrictions. This results in unauthorized reading of arbitrary files on the Domain Controller, potentially exposing sensitive information such as configuration files, keystores, and system credentials. The vulnerability requires high privileges and network access but no user interaction. Currently, no official fix or mitigation meeting Red Hat's criteria is available.
