CVE-2026-18675: CWE-248 Uncaught Exception in Kong Inc. Kong MeshCVE-2026-18675 0 CVE-2026-18675 is a medium severity vulnerability in Kong Inc.'s Kong Mesh product. It involves an uncaught exception caused by an unchecked Go type assertion on the JWT kid header in the dataplane token validator. A malformed token with a kid as a JSON number causes a runtime panic that crashes the kuma-cp process and associated services. This can be triggered by unauthenticated access to the dataplane gRPC server. A single request causes a transient outage, but repeated requests can sustain a denial of service.
