CVE-2026-18749: CWE-639: Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key in CERT/CC VINCECVE-2026-18749
0

CVE-2026-18749 is an authorization bypass vulnerability in the CERT/CC VINCE product. The vulnerability occurs because the 'type=track' branch authorizes access based only on _is_my_case(t_attach.case) and does not verify whether the VinceTrackAttachment.shared flag is set. As a result, case artefacts uploaded by coordinators but not marked as shared can still be accessed by any case member who has or is sent the artefact's UUID. This leads to unintended disclosure of coordinator material to vendors involved in the case.
