CVE-2026-18988: CWE-79 Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in shapedplugin Easy Accordion – AI-Powered FAQ & Accordion Blocks, Product FAQCVE-2026-18988 0 The Easy Accordion plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the 'accordionTitleTag' block attribute. This flaw exists due to improper sanitization and escaping of user input in the accordion_header_renderer() function, allowing authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts. These scripts execute when any user views the affected page. The vulnerability affects versions up to and including 3.1.8. No official patch or remediation guidance has been provided yet.
