0 CVE-2026-19669 is a high-severity memory safety vulnerability in the Zephyr project affecting the fuel gauge syscall handlers. It arises from unvalidated user-supplied length parameters used to allocate variable-length arrays on the kernel stack before permission checks. This allows an attacker with user-mode access and CONFIG_USERSPACE enabled to cause out-of-bounds writes in kernel memory, potentially leading to kernel code execution or system crashes. The vulnerability affects Zephyr versions from 3.4.0 up to but not including 4.5.0. A fix has been implemented that removes unsafe kernel-side copies and validates user arrays safely.
