The Atarim plugin for WordPress (versions up to and including 5.1.1) contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows authenticated users with author-level access or higher to delete arbitrary files on the server. This is due to insufficient validation of file paths in a specific function, enabling attackers to manipulate attachment metadata and trigger deletion of targeted files. Exploitation can lead to remote code execution if critical files like wp-config.php are deleted. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 08/19/2026, 04:27:08 UTC Added: 08/19/2026, 04:49:53 UTC |
