A vulnerability in the endpoint group (EPG) contract functionality of Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Fabric Switches in ACI Mode allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to bypass configured EPG contracts by sending specially crafted DHCP traffic packets. This could lead to unauthorized communication across endpoint groups that should be isolated. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 10/07/2026, 18:32:10 UTC Added: 10/07/2026, 21:56:04 UTC |
0 A vulnerability in the endpoint group (EPG) contract functionality of Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Fabric Switches in ACI Mode could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass configured EPG contracts. This vulnerability is due to an improper control with EPG contracts. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending IPv4 or IPv6 packets using UDP source and destination ports that are assigned to DHCP traffic through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to bypass EPG contracts on the affected device. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/07/2026, 16:11:55 UTC Added: 10/07/2026, 16:34:14 UTC |
