Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 detection engine that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to restart, resulting in an interruption of packet inspection.&nbsp;

CVE-2026-20067 is a vulnerability in the Snort 3 detection engine integrated within Cisco Cyber Vision products, affecting a wide range of versions from 3.0.0 through 5.3.2. The root cause is incomplete error checking during the parsing of Multicast DNS fields embedded in HTTP headers. An attacker can exploit this by sending crafted HTTP packets over an established connection that Snort 3 processes.
