MediaTek chipsetCVE-2026-20457 0 CVE-2026-20457 is a vulnerability in MediaTek chipsets caused by improper input validation in the modem component, leading to a NULL pointer dereference. This flaw can cause a system crash resulting in a remote denial of service (DoS) if a user equipment (UE) connects to a rogue base station controlled by an attacker. Exploitation does not require user interaction or additional execution privileges. Multiple MediaTek chipset models are affected. No official patch or remediation guidance has been provided yet.
