MediaTek chipsetCVE-2026-20458 0 CVE-2026-20458 is a vulnerability in MediaTek chipsets involving an out-of-bounds write due to a missing bounds check in the modem component. This memory corruption flaw could allow remote escalation of privilege if a user equipment (UE) connects to a rogue base station controlled by an attacker. Exploitation does not require user interaction or additional execution privileges. Multiple MediaTek chipset models are affected. No patch or official remediation information is currently available.
