MediaTek chipsetCVE-2026-20464 0 CVE-2026-20464 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the HEVC decoder of certain MediaTek chipsets caused by an integer overflow. Exploitation does not require user interaction but requires the attacker to already have System privilege. This vulnerability could lead to remote escalation of privilege. The affected MediaTek chipset versions are MT6761, MT8766, and MT8768. No official patch or remediation guidance has been provided yet.
