CVE-2026-25654 is a high-severity vulnerability in Siemens SINEC NMS versions prior to V4. 0 SP3. The issue arises from improper validation of user authorization during password reset requests. An authenticated remote attacker with limited privileges could exploit this flaw to bypass authorization checks and reset the password of any arbitrary user account. This vulnerability impacts confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the affected system. No official patch or remediation guidance has been provided yet by Siemens. There are no known exploits in the wild at this time.
