The issue involves exposure of a user's email address as a query parameter in the URL during error handling in the authentication flow, specifically when an invalid magic code is submitted. This practice of transmitting personally identifiable information (PII) via GET request query strings is considered insecure design. The vulnerability is fixed in Plane version 1.3.0.
