CVE-2026-28580: Elevation of privilege in Google AndroidCVE-2026-28580 0 CVE-2026-28580 is a high-severity elevation of privilege vulnerability in Google Android versions 16 and 16-qpr2. It arises from an incorrect bounds check causing a possible desynchronization in persistence across multiple functions. This flaw allows a local attacker with limited privileges to escalate their privileges without requiring additional execution rights or user interaction. There are no known exploits in the wild at this time, and no official patch or remediation guidance has been provided yet.
