The application reflects arbitrary origins and returns Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true, enabling any external webpage to make authenticated requests using the victim's session. Exploitation requires the victim to access the application via a non-localhost hostname and visit a malicious webpage controlled by an attacker. This can lead to sensitive data exfiltration such as API keys and credentials, or full system compromise through the External Programs manager. The vulnerability is rated critical with a CVSS 4.0 score of 9. No patches were available at the time of publication. The attack vector is primarily social engineering targeting logged-in users.
