CVE-2026-31256 is a high-severity vulnerability in the RTSP service of the MERCURY MIPC252W device firmware version 1.0.5 Build 230306 Rel.79931n. The issue arises from improper validation of the Transport header field in a SETUP request, leading to a null pointer dereference. Exploitation causes the device to crash and reboot automatically.
