CVE-2026-31934 is a vulnerability in OISF Suricata versions 8.0.0 through 8.0.3 where a quadratic algorithmic complexity issue occurs when searching for URLs in MIME encoded SMTP messages. This leads to a significant performance degradation. The issue has been addressed and patched in version 8.0.4.
