CVE-2026-33067: CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in siyuan-note siyuanCVE-2026-33067
0

CVE-2026-33067 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in SiYuan personal knowledge management system versions 3.6.0 and below. It arises from improper HTML escaping of package metadata fields, allowing malicious package authors to inject arbitrary HTML/JavaScript. Due to SiYuan's Electron configuration with nodeIntegration enabled and contextIsolation disabled, this XSS leads directly to remote code execution on the victim's OS without user interaction beyond opening the Bazaar page. The vulnerability is fixed in version 3.6.1. The CVSS 4.0 score is 5.
