0 fast-jwt versions 6.1.0 and earlier do not validate the 'crit' (Critical) Header Parameter in JSON Web Tokens as required by RFC 7515 §4.1.11. This means that if a token contains a 'crit' array listing extensions that fast-jwt does not recognize, the library incorrectly accepts the token instead of rejecting it. This behavior violates the mandatory validation requirement defined in the RFC and can lead to insufficient verification of data authenticity.
