An unauthenticated attacker can repeatedly send RTSP requests with invalid authentication parameters, causing the RTSP service to enter a persistent authentication failure state. This results in a denial of service by preventing legitimate clients from authenticating to the RTSP service. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 6.2, indicating medium severity, and does not impact confidentiality or integrity but causes availability disruption.
