CVE-2026-36540: n/aCVE-2026-36540 0 The Netis AC1200 Router NC21 V4. 0. 1. 4296 contains an unauthenticated command injection vulnerability in the /cgi-bin/skk_set. cgi endpoint. The vulnerability arises because the password and new_pwd_confirm POST parameters are passed directly to the OS shell without sanitization. An attacker on the local network can exploit this by sending a specially crafted HTTP POST request with base64-encoded commands wrapped in backticks, resulting in full remote code execution on the router. No authentication is required to exploit this flaw, making it a critical risk for devices on the LAN.
