A Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability exists in RedwoodJS SDK versions from 1.0.0-beta.50 up to but not including 1.0.6. Server functions exported from "use server" files could be invoked via GET requests, bypassing intended HTTP method restrictions. In cookie-authenticated applications, this allowed cross-site GET navigations to trigger state-changing functions due to browsers sending SameSite=Lax cookies on top-level GET requests. This affects all server functions, including serverAction() handlers and bare exported functions. The vulnerability is fixed in version 1.
