CVE-2026-39924: Insufficient Session Expiration in Flarum Flarum FrameworkCVE-2026-39924
0

Flarum Framework versions prior to 1.8.16 contain a vulnerability where session tokens are not properly invalidated upon password changes. Attackers holding valid session tokens can maintain full account access even after the victim changes their password because the system fails to clear active session tokens and API bearer tokens. This includes long-lived RememberAccessToken entries. Administrator-forced password resets also do not revoke attacker-held sessions.
