CVE-2026-40007: CWE-674 Uncontrolled Recursion in Apache Software Foundation Apache IoTDBCVE-2026-40007
0

Apache IoTDB versions from 1.0.0 up to but not including 2.0.10 contain an uncontrolled recursion vulnerability in the AirGap receiver component when the pipe_air_gap_receiver_enabled setting is true. The readLength method recursively calls itself without a depth limit upon detecting the E-language prefix in socket data. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by sending repeated E-language prefixes, causing a StackOverflowError due to JVM stack exhaustion. The issue is fixed in version 2.0.10.
