0 The TP Restore Categories And Taxonomies WordPress plugin up to version 1.0.1 has a missing authorization vulnerability. The delete_term() function, which processes the 'tpmcattt_delete_term' AJAX action, does not verify user capabilities, allowing any authenticated user with Subscriber-level access or higher to delete taxonomy term records from the plugin's trash or backup tables. Although the AJAX request requires a nonce, this nonce is accessible to all authenticated users, including low-privilege subscribers, via any wp-admin page. This vulnerability can lead to unauthorized deletion of taxonomy terms, impacting data integrity without affecting confidentiality or availability.
