The mCatFilter WordPress plugin up to version 0.5.2 is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) due to missing nonce verification and capability checks in its compute_post() function. This function processes POST requests to update plugin settings without validating CSRF tokens, allowing an attacker to trick an administrator into submitting a forged request that modifies plugin settings such as category and feed exclusion rules.
