CVE-2026-42273 is a high-severity vulnerability in dadrus heimdall, a cloud native Identity Aware Proxy and Access Control Decision service. The issue arises because heimdall versions prior to 0.17.14 perform host matching in a case-sensitive manner, whereas HTTP hostnames are case-insensitive by standard. This mismatch can cause heimdall to fail to match rules correctly when the request host differs only in letter casing, potentially leading to unintended request classification. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 0.17.14. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 05/08/2026, 03:42:50 UTC Added: 05/08/2026, 03:51:25 UTC |
