In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: chipidea: udc: fix DMA and SG cleanup in _ep_nuke() The ChipIdea UDC driver… (CVE-2026-43250)CVE-2026-43250 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ChipIdea USB Device Controller (UDC) driver was resolved. The issue occurs when a USB device is reconnected after disconnection during an active DMA transfer, causing stale DMA state to be reused. This leads to improper DMA buffer unmapping and scatter-gather cleanup, resulting in alignment errors and potential memory corruption. The flaw affects multiple Linux kernel versions prior to 6.8.0-1060.63~22.04.1 and related builds. A patch is available and included in updated Linux kernel packages.
