A vulnerability in Apple operating systems related to memory handling could allow processing of a maliciously crafted video file to cause unexpected app termination or memory corruption. This issue has been addressed with improved memory handling in multiple Apple OS versions including iOS, iPadOS, macOS Sequoia, macOS Tahoe, tvOS, and watchOS.

A vulnerability in Apple iOS and iPadOS allows processing of a maliciously crafted video file to cause unexpected app termination or corrupt process memory. This issue affects versions prior to iOS and iPadOS 26.6 and 26.7, as well as macOS versions prior to Sequoia 15.8 and Tahoe 26.6 and 26.7. The vulnerability has been addressed by Apple with improved memory handling in these fixed versions.
