OpenAM versions prior to 16.1.1 contain a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect authorization endpoint. This occurs because user-supplied parameters are not properly encoded before being rendered into HTML in the form_post response mode. An unauthenticated attacker can craft a malicious authorization request that, when opened by a user, executes script in the OpenAM origin. The vulnerability is fixed in version 16.1.1.
