CVE-2026-44617: CWE-90 Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an LDAP Query ('LDAP Injection') in Apache Software Foundation Apache ZeppelinCVE-2026-44617 0 Apache Zeppelin versions 0.11.1, 0.11.2, and 0.12.0 contain an LDAP filter injection vulnerability due to improper escaping of special characters in LDAP search filters. The vulnerability arises because LdapRealm uses RFC 4514 distinguished-name escaping instead of the correct RFC 4515 filter escaping, resulting in insufficient escaping of special filter characters. This issue is an incomplete fix of a previous vulnerability (CVE-2024-31867). Upgrading to version 0.12.1 addresses this vulnerability.
