CVE-2026-4512: CWE-79 Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in reCaptcha by WebDesignByCVE-2026-4512 0 CVE-2026-4512 is a low-severity cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the reCaptcha by WebDesignBy WordPress plugin versions before 2. 0. The issue arises because the plugin does not properly sanitize or escape the Site Key setting before outputting it in a JavaScript string context via the grecaptcha_js() function. This flaw allows administrators on multisite WordPress installations, who lack the unfiltered_html capability, to inject arbitrary JavaScript that executes for all visitors to the WordPress login page. No known exploits are reported in the wild, and no official patch or remediation guidance is currently available.
