A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's f2fs filesystem caused fsck to incorrectly treat migrated node blocks as fsync-written data due to improper clearing of dentry and fsync marks during node block migration. This inconsistency could lead to filesystem corruption or denial of service. The issue has been fixed in updated Linux kernel versions.
