CVE-2026-47659: CWE-22: Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') in aehrc pathlingCVE-2026-47659
0

CVE-2026-47659 is a path traversal vulnerability in Pathling Server versions prior to 2.0.0. The vulnerability exists in the `/$result` endpoint, which allows an attacker with a valid async export job ID to supply a file parameter containing path traversal sequences. This flaw permits reading arbitrary files from the warehouse database root, beyond the intended job directory. The issue is fixed in Pathling Server 2.0.0 by canonicalizing and restricting file paths. Interim mitigations include disabling async export operations or enabling authentication to restrict access.
