CVE-2026-48063: CWE-290: Authentication Bypass by Spoofing in WhiskeySockets BaileysCVE-2026-48063 0 CVE-2026-48063 is a critical authentication bypass vulnerability in WhiskeySockets Baileys, a socket-based TypeScript/JavaScript API for WhatsApp Web. Versions prior to 6.7.22 and 7.0.0-rc12 are affected. The flaw allows an attacker to send malicious payloads that spoof messages, corrupt app state synchronization, and inject fake historical context. This can lead to unauthorized message spoofing and manipulation of sync data. The issue has been fixed in versions 6.7.22 and 7.0.0-rc12.
