CVE-2026-48071: CWE-307: Improper Restriction of Excessive Authentication Attempts in open-reception appointment-booking-softwareCVE-2026-48071 0 OpenReception appointment booking software prior to version 1.0.4 has an issue where failed PIN challenge attempts are throttled using a shared key based on emailHash across all tenants. This allows an attacker to cause a denial of service by locking out a user on one tenant through repeated failed attempts on another tenant using the same emailHash. The lockout escalates with repeated failures, lasting from 60 seconds up to 60 minutes. Version 1.0.4 addresses this issue.
