It allows authenticated administrators to delete arbitrary directories outside the intended upload folder by exploiting insufficient input validation on the fileName parameter. This can lead to deletion of critical WordPress directories such as wp-content/plugins, causing severe disruption. The vulnerability arises because the plugin sanitizes input inadequately and concatenates paths without proper checks. No official patch or remediation guidance is currently confirmed.
