0 CVE-2026-48597 is a high-severity vulnerability in the elixir-tesla tesla library affecting version 1.3.0. It involves allocation of resources without limits or throttling, specifically the conversion of URL schemes to BEAM atoms without validation. Because BEAM atoms are not garbage-collected and the atom table has a fixed size, an attacker can exhaust this table by causing many unique URL schemes to be converted, leading to a denial of service by crashing the Erlang VM.
