CVE-2026-49949: Insufficiently Protected Credentials in steipete CodexBarCVE-2026-49949 0 CodexBar versions before 0.33.0 have a credential forwarding vulnerability that allows network-adjacent attackers to intercept sensitive credentials. This occurs when attackers issue cross-origin or HTTP-downgrade redirects to the shared ProviderHTTPClient transport, causing credentialed requests to be redirected to unintended hosts or plaintext HTTP destinations.
