A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's airoha network driver can cause a NULL pointer dereference leading to a denial of service. (CVE-2026-53299)CVE-2026-53299

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's airoha network driver can cause a NULL pointer dereference leading to a denial of service. The issue occurs if queue entry list allocation fails in the airoha_qdma_init_tx_queue routine, where cleanup code accesses an uninitialized queue entry array. The flaw is due to early initialization of a descriptor count variable (ndesc) and is fixed by moving this initialization to the end of the initialization routine.
