A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's airoha network driver was resolved by moving the ndesc initialization to the end of the airoha_qdma_init_tx() function. The flaw caused a NULL pointer dereference if queue entry list allocation failed in the airoha_qdma_init_tx_queue routine, potentially leading to a denial of service. This issue was fixed in Linux kernel versions 7.0.0 and later. The vulnerability has a medium severity score of 5.5 and does not impact confidentiality or integrity but affects availability. A patch is available and should be applied to affected systems. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 06/26/2026, 20:17:00 UTC Added: 07/17/2026, 10:15:40 UTC |
