CVE-2026-53457: CWE-22: Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') in ha-china blueprint-studioCVE-2026-53457
0

CVE-2026-53457 is a path traversal vulnerability in ha-china blueprint-studio, a VS Code-like editor for Home Assistant configuration files. Prior to version 2.5.2, the legacy terminal command execution accepted a working-directory parameter without restricting it to the Home Assistant configuration directory. This allowed an administrator using the restricted terminal helper to select directories outside the intended boundary, potentially accessing or modifying host filesystem paths permitted by container and filesystem permissions. The issue is fixed in version 2.5.2.
