CVE-2026-5355 is a medium severity OS command injection vulnerability in the Trendnet TEW-657BRM router version 1.00.1. The issue exists in the vpn_drop function of the /setup.cgi file, where manipulation of the policy_name argument allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands. The product has been discontinued and reached end-of-life in 2011, with no vendor support or patches available.
