CVE-2026-53582 is an XML Injection vulnerability in the OPNsense core Trust module that affects versions prior to 26.1.10. It allows a user with CA Manager or Certificate Manager privileges to submit crafted inputs that are interpolated into XPath expressions, enabling an attacker to recover sensitive configuration data character by character. This can expose password hashes, API credentials, private keys, and other critical secrets, potentially leading to privilege escalation and compromise of other security domains. The issue is fixed in version 26.1.10. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/15/2026, 15:08:46 UTC Added: 10/15/2026, 15:34:10 UTC |
