CVE-2026-53702: Out-of-bounds Write in Red Hat Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10CVE-2026-53702
0

CVE-2026-53702 is a stack buffer overflow vulnerability in the GStreamer H.265 codec parser library (gst-plugins-bad) used in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10. The flaw occurs when parsing a buffering period SEI message due to an incorrect loop bound derived from an improper index, which can cause writes beyond the stack-allocated buffer. This can lead to a crash or potential stack memory corruption when processing crafted H.265 video files or streams.
