A high-severity out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the odhcpd DHCPv6 IA parser used by OpenWrt. Versions from 17.01.0 up to but not including 25.12.3 are affected. The flaw allows an unauthenticated network-adjacent attacker to cause odhcpd to read beyond the intended buffer when processing malformed IA_NA or IA_PD options, potentially leaking sensitive stack memory such as stack canaries and ASLR-related data. This vulnerability has been patched in version 25.12.3. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/23/2026, 13:20:48 UTC Added: 10/23/2026, 13:31:01 UTC |
