CVE-2026-54253 is a high-severity cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in ts3-manager, a web interface for managing TeamSpeak3 servers. Versions prior to 2.2.6 have an issue in the /api/download handler where an attacker-controlled port parameter is reflected in an error message without proper content security policies, enabling script execution in the manager's origin. The vulnerability allows a logged-in operator to execute malicious scripts that can read a token cookie lacking HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite attributes. This leads to exposure of the decoded JWT containing cleartext ServerQuery credentials, enabling session hijacking and control over the TeamSpeak server. A valid operator session and user interaction are required for exploitation. The issue is fixed in version 2.2.6.
