CVE-2026-55481: CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in grokability snipe-itCVE-2026-55481 0 Snipe-IT versions prior to 8.6.2 contain a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability due to improper neutralization of input in CSS context. Specifically, the default.blade.php file renders certain branding color settings inside a CSS style block with insufficient HTML escaping, allowing a superadmin to inject arbitrary CSS. This injected CSS can affect authenticated users on subsequent page loads if Content Security Policy is disabled. The issue is fixed in version 8.6.2.
