CVE-2026-55483: CWE-862: Missing Authorization in grokability snipe-itCVE-2026-55483 0 CVE-2026-55483 is a missing authorization vulnerability in Snipe-IT prior to version 8.6.0. An authenticated user with the users.create permission can create a new user account and assign it administrative privileges by submitting the admin permission during user creation. The flaw exists because the store() method in UsersController.php strips superuser permissions but does not strip admin permissions. This issue is resolved in version 8.6.0.
